What moves the price
- Open course or on site: a trainer running the course at your workplace usually prices the whole group, which can work out cheaper per head than sending people to a public course.
- VAT: some providers print a price + VAT and some include it, so compare like with like.
- Blended delivery: some providers move part of the course online. HSE says the full course runs over a minimum of three days.
- Requalification: a first-aider whose certificate is still valid takes the shorter two-day course instead.
